  • Delta Ceramcoat Acrylic Paint - Metallic Bronze, 2 oz.
  • Delta Ceramcoat Acrylic Paint - Metallic Copper, 2 oz.
  • Variety of pinecone sizes
  • Glass vase
  • Flat ½” paint brush
  • Water basin
  • Paper towels
  • Foam plate

Easy Pine Cone Table Decoration

Instructions

  1. Fill the vase with a variety of pinecones to see how many you need to paint.

  2. Paint each pinecone in the metallic paints. For a few pinecones, paint only the tips of cone in the paint. Let dry.

  3. Arrange in the vase or other container. Vary heights for a more dramatic effect.

I really love this look. I'm not a big fan of Christmas-y decor, with ornaments and bows and wreathes, etc. But this is right up my alley! Wintery and lovely without being over the top.

This is a great idea for me! My youngest son and I are always picking up pinecones as we walk and I wanted to keep them but didn't know what to do with them. Now I do! I like the touch of fake snow in the bottom of the one container and the three of varying heights give it the decorator's touch! Bravo! Those memories are now safe!

I love this idea for the holidays, but you can always use this idea for a wedding or a birthday party. A little white paint and some sparkly white or silver glitter and you have a whole different centerpiece for your special day. You could use this outdoors to for a summer function.
