This looks like a really fun project and it seems so easy to do. Quick too. I have not previously heard of Rub Buff but I am sure we will be able to track some down somewhere. The imperfect looking finish is something we particularly like because it adds visual interest to the piece.

It's amazing at what the color gold can do to a piece of furniture. I have a few thrifted bed side/coffee tables that are bright and unattractive. I am going to transform these pieces by painting them gold!
