Wow, people really do make everything these days! This is awesome. During the summer, I always feel so bad for my dog because if I know if I'm getting eaten alive by bugs, so is she. I will definitely be trying these out!

I adore natural product recipes for our very special fur-buddies, and this one is one of the best out there. Using patchouli powder as well as the essential oil and the neem and arrowroot together make this recipe on of the most dog-friendly, safest and nontoxic recipe out there! When I make this I also like to add some additional essential oils that are known to repel mosquitoes and other creepy crawlies, peppermint and eucalyptus being a few good ones.

Has anyone tried this? Does it work? I have a little rescue dog, I don't know if it is because she is white with very pink skin underneath but it seems ticks think she is a blood bank for them, I have tried everything to keep them away. I also have another brown rescue dog who never gets anything, would this repellent work to keep ticks away?

I always feel bad about walking our dog through the woods, but I wouldn't want to spray her up with nasty repellants. This is much better.
