DIY Hummingbird Perch
From the blogger: "Everyone loves hummingbirds, but not many people get the chance to see them sitting still on a perch. If you have feeders in your backyard, then you'll want to make some of these Hummingbird Perches to place next to your feeders. Turns out, the little hummers don't actually prefer hovering all the time. They love to sit on their perch, swing in a gentle breeze and keep an eye on their favorite stash of nectar!"

I did not know that hummingbirds like to perch so now that I do I will have to make some perches for them. I love watching the hummers but they seem to be afraid around here. This is a great tutorial and I love the step by step pictures. So easy to make too. I have the perfect place next to feeder too. Where will you put yours?

What a beautiful project! I recently built a DIY hummingbird bath for my Mum. I think that a little perch to hand next to it might be just the right idea. This is such a pretty and delicate DIY that it would be a stunning decoration in any garden. I'm definitely building a few of these for my garden and my aunt's garden this spring. Here's hoping the hummingbirds like them as much as I do!
