DIY Fleece Dog Toy

From the blogger: "Dogs are wonderful. Everyone loves to spoil their dogs with new toys from time to time. These tutorials show how to make two different styles of rope-type dog toys from fleece fabric. These are great for tossing around and playing fetch. You really do not need a ton of fabric to make these. You can adjust the size of the toys for larger or smaller dogs by adjusting the lengths of fabric used. It is a super simple no-sew project. Homemade toys are great, but like any other dog toy, please be sure to supervise your dog for his or her safety."

I think this is a neat idea, but I agree that you definitely need to know if this is even a safe toy for your own dog. Could you repurpose fleece from other projects to make this toy, too?

This is a really cute idea to use up leftover fleece from other projects. I just don't think that it is the right chew toy for my dog. He is a BIG chewer...and I think that he would tear this to shreds in an instant! (He tears apart balls, kongs, etc.) Maybe this might be better for smaller dogs? I'm also worried that if my dog tore it apart, he might ingest bits of the fabrics that might get bound in his stomach (I'm a worry wart!)
