These are pretty cool little toys. I like the idea of making them myself, and with how fast our cat destroys them, building a stock to keep on hand would be a smart thing to do.

I love these little toys, very inventive! My partner and I are hoping to get a kitten soon as a pal to our dog (she loves them) I am wondering about the catnip as i heard cats go nuts for it!! I am wondering how much you add? Also is the cat meant to open it to get the catnip or do cats just love the catnip smell? Where could I pick some up?

Love me, love my cat, I say. He's part of our family and we come as a package deal. My kitten is one year old this January. His main source of entertainment this December was the Christmas tree. Every morning I found decorations which he had dislodged and played with. Now that everything has been packed away I'm going to make him some felt toys. I think this is a fantastic idea which I had never thought of myself.

I do not have a cat but for those I know that do they have said that their cats have done the same with their tree ornaments and packages torn from their cats playing with the ribbons. I had cats growing up and I do know that they need to stay entertained and will look for things to play with. These handmade toys are a great idea and very inexpensive. I would print out other pictures and make different ones. I think I would just draw on the outline to make it easier and maybe sew it with my achine. Did you make any?

These are super cute! Plus, you can't be sure that if your cat will like them, but since these are so easy to make/affordable, it's ok if they lose interest pretty quickly. That being said, my cats LOVE little felt toys. I got 25 cent Christmas ornaments and they LOVED them (a.k.a. completely ripped them apart).
