This Birdbath is so beautiful, it will enhance the look of your garden. I remember my high school days when we would make mosaic projects where we used small and big beads, buttons, ropes, paints, and other art materials.

I love the idea of using mosaic patterns for a DIY birdbath! I had done s similar project using glass pebbles and little tiny pretty rocks and shells embedded in a stepping stone for a pathway, so this idea takes it a step further! And the glass stones in the water would really shine and sparkle! And since you can also use broken pieces you might have on hand, it is a great up cycle idea too! Thanks for sharing!

I love this Mosaic DIY Birdbath idea! I am a big rock and sea glass horder and this is a great way to use some of them. I have just tiled my shower and have some grout left over and this will be great to use up because it is water proof. I like that she had her sons make this and I think my Grand kids would like to do it as well. I'm looking forward to having them do this come summer. Thank you for sharing this free DIY idea.

What a great idea! I've been saving back broken stoneware for such a time as this! It's a lot easier to make than I had imagined--I think I can pull it off. The colors you chose are beautiful and the patterns how personalized! Good questions were asked below...time for a bit more research. Thanks for the great start!

This is such a neat project! I've had a painted bird bath in my garden for a few years but it's old and the paint is peeling. I think I might try this in the spring. I've never done a mosaic before and the directions make it seem do-able. Does anyone know if this might benefit from a coat of sealer on it where it's outdoors and exposed to the elements. If so, can you recommend one?

I never realized how easy it is to do mosaic tile. The hardest part is the wait. The tiles are so pretty and I like how you can create your own design. I want to make one for the birds and also one for the butterflies too. I love to keep water and food out for my wildlife. They bring so much pleasure. Is the glue and grout safe for the wildlife? This is a very good tutorial to follow for beginners. Everyone can make one.

This is so fun! The style reminds me of a famous artist, if only I could remember his name...

Mosaics were always so fun when I was growing up. This would be a great project to get back to that this summer!

I love that this is a fun project you can do with the kids!

Mosaics are my favorite! Love this idea.
