DIY Outdoor Movie Blanket
This DIY blanket for the outdoors is also fabulous to use as a picnic blanket!
From the blogger: "One of our favorite summertime activities is to set up a movie outside in the backyard. Whether it's just our little family or a whole gaggle of neighborhood kids, it's an easy way to get outside...and keep the mess out of my house! But what to sit on when watching a movie or enjoying a picnic? Pick up a flat bed sheet and make your own easy blanket that's easy to wash and store for the next outdoor fun time."

- Flat bed sheet
- Craft scissors
DIY Project Instructions
Instructions

Lay bed sheet down on a flat surface.

Use your scissors to cut slits along the bottom of the sheet, approx. 1" apart.

Tie two slits together to form loose ties.

Repeat for the other end of the bed sheet.

Cute idea to make a lightweight blanket that doesn't look just like a bed sheet! You could take it a step further by tying two sheets together, or even adding a lightweight waterproof fabric as a liner for the bottom to ward off any dampness on the lawn. Great idea because you can toss in the wash and have fun making this light weight and easy to carry blanket!
