Materials List

  • FolkArt ® Neons - Pink, 2 oz.
  • FolkArt ® Neons - Yellow, 2 oz.
  • FolkArt ® Neons - Green, 2 oz.
  • FolkArt ® Neons - Blue, 2 oz.

Instructions

Follow these step by step instructions to create these bright neon birdhouses.

  1. Basecoat roofs of each birdhouse in colors shown in photo. Apply 2 coats and let dry between coats.  

  2. Using painters tape, tape off the sections shown in photo. Paint the banded areas as shown in the desired neon colors.  

  3. Let stripes dry and then remove the tape.
     

  4. Paint candle stick and tops colors in photo and let dry. Glue to birdhouses and let dry.

I'm a sucker for birdhouses whether they decorate inside or hang outside. These are so cute. I will use my favorite colors, blue and purple. I might add some pink, too, to make it more colorful. What a great craft project!
