Bucket Lights

From the blogger: "This is a simple DIY project that makes a great gift, a cute holiday decoration, or an awesome source of light while camping. All you need is a white bucket with lid from the hardware store, a vinyl decoration (easy to make if you have a Cricut or Silhouette), and submersible LED lights. The first one I made was a gift for my sister because her and her husband go camping. They use their bucket light all the time and they love it! Then I made a fall bucket to use outside in my front porch and for Halloween. These are so cute and your friends and family will love them!"

Materials List

  • White bucket and lid from Lowes
  • Vinyl design (make your own or purchase)
  • Black 651 vinyl if making your own decal
  • Clear contact paper or transfer paper (to transfer decal if you make your own)
  • Weeding tool (if making own decal) and scraper tool
  • Submersible LED lights, can buy a 4 pack on Amazon
  • AAA batteries for lights
