Transform that dirty bird bath sitting in a corner of your yard into a miniature spot of greenery when you make the Upcycled Bird Bath Succulent Garden! This fun and easy DIY garden project checks all the right boxes, as it won't take long to create and is easy on the budget, too. As noted by the blogger, you can select succulents that are suitable for your yard and add cute decorative items to the garden as well. If the bird bath is raised and sits on a pedestal, then this project would be especially suitable for anyone who has mobility issues or simply wants a low-fuss garden. It's also the perfect size for a small garden!

I started a fairy garden last year and most of my things got destroyed or rusted(wood and metal) so I need to start fresh. My succlents disappeared too. I am wanting to start a new one and if I can find an old birdbath I may try his. I like that you do not have to get on the ground to maintainit and it is easier to control the water it gets. This is great for someone who cannot get on griund because of medical reason too. You can add some colorful succulentstoo for a good pop in color. Thanks for posting.

I have used a bird bath before to create a fairy garden however I like the idea of adding succulents. With no drainage it might be a challenge to have the right moisture balance. Even succulents like a bit of shade during the course of the day. Having the bird bath as a container means it could be easily moved around the yard.
