I am definitely trying this DIY. I have always had problems with dandruff. I have been trying different types of shampoos but it seems to not work. This DIY shampoo might be helpful for me.

Aloe vera did some wonders on my hair and I noticed that since I stopped using coconut oil my scalp has been Soooo itchy sometimes I wanna cry. I feel good about this combination and I can't wait to try it out. I can't believe this was caused by the pH of my scalp! Really informative tutorial.

Homemade beauty products are such a great idea! I especially like the creamy, moisturizing look of this shampoo. I've used both coconut oil and aloe vera separately for deep conditioning before shampooing so I know that they are great for locking in moisture. Together, the moisturizing ingredients in coconut and aloe vera should work even better!

I never really considered the pH of my scalp before. It seems like this natural shampoo would be worth a shot.

Did you try the shampoo yet? Did it work good for you? I have been wanting to try a natural shampoo because I hate all the chemicals in store bought ones. I have been using coconut treatment every so often that I bought at Sally's beauty supply and it works okay(you only use every 2 weeks) but sometimes it makes my hair feel real oily. I am thinking about giving this I was wondering if it works first.
