I have heard of this and never tried it before. Now that I have more jewelry, I so need this one. I have my Grandmother's jewelry and it all needs a good cleaning. Like many women I'm sure I love my costume jewellery, I have two drawers full of it but the problem with that is when it is stored together it goes a tarnished coloured and I end up throwing it out but if I can clean it I will save myself a fortune which would be amazing, thank you for the idea!
