Barn doors are in and if you have ever wanted one but price was to high then make your own with this tutorial with some great step by step pictures to go with it. You can use the door anywhere you choose and can make it any color you like and any handle you want. The best part is the cost is no here what a purchased one. So what are you waiting for go ahead and make one.

This might sound crazy, but I kind of like this for an all-encompassing, each-wall-a-different-genre movie room. It's got that perfect western feel.

I love the look of this reclaimed wood door and it is good to know that if you shop around, you can find the proper hardware for a good price. We live in an old farmhouse and don't have a place to add a door like this here, but I am intrigued by the door. We are planning an addition and perhaps we could find a way to incorporate a rustic hanging barn door somewhere! Great tutorial and great idea for a spot on home improvement project!

This would cost upwards of $100s of dollars if you bought this as kit for home improvement store. Im thinking I could do with with a old reclaimed wood door and use the hanger hardware listed. I was even thinking about using pipes to make the track. Love this idea tho.
