This is a great idea. My son does a lot of camping. I will send this along to him so he can make up a bunch of them. They would be great for the cottage too. Adding one to your back pack when out hiking would also be a good idea, just in case you found yourself stranded.

This is a really cool and nifty idea for making DIY fire starters. It's especially great for camping, as store-bought fire starters can be kind of pricey.

Super idea. I put in the shaved bits of the bottom of votive candles after they have completed burning down, soy or palm oil works best as there is no petroleum soot. The bits burn away and if scented, gives a bit of aroma as well. I have also cut paper towel rolls in half as well! Love these lint fire starters!

I love, love this Quick and Easy Dryer Lint Fire Starter. I have always used egg cartons and with this idea I can reuse toilet paper rolls. My hubby adds wax to the dryer lint to make them last longer for better fire starter. Thank you for this free DIY idea..
