Kitchen Countertop Makeover With Floor Paint

"In my kitchen, my countertops were made from beechwood. However, they were over 20 years old and beginning to show severe signs of wear and tear, especially around the sink area where they had deep ingrained black mold marks. No matter how much I scrubbed and sanded, I could not get rid of these unsightly marks. I couldn't afford to replace the countertops. So to give my kitchen a fresh new look, I decided to paint the countertops. I decided to use a floor paint as this would be hard wearing, but I made sure that I used an eco brand of floor paint that was food safe. My kitchen looks like new once again."

If you want to update your kitchen but do not have the money to put in new countertops then why not try this paint idea. You can paint the cabinents too with a coordinating color. You can even make it with squares or diamonds by painting main color then go back and tape off or use a stencil and add another color.
