I learned to do this years ago and have saved myself a lot of heartaches by being able to patch up drywall without waiting for someone to do it for me.I have even patched out walls for my sons, daughter and friends with them being impressed. It is so simple and easy you just have to get your hands and nails dirty and the hardest part is waiting for the drywall spakle or joint compound to dry in between applications. I like to use the one that goes on with color and dries white when dry so you know for sure it is dry before next application or sanding. Believe me learn how to patch drywall yourself. You will be amazed how easy it is. Simple tutorial and spot on.

Another skill that will make life easier around here. I have a collection of antique prints that is often growing, causing me to rearrange the walls of the front room. Now I needn't feel so guilty about the holes in the walls. I can patch them.
