I love this! My basement is so crowded. We are a fairly large family and laundry is always cycling through. I have several laundry baskets on the go at any given time. This would be great to keep things neat and organised, and it would give me a table to fold on as well.

OK, so this laundry shelf is a great idea. I know I will still have issues having my family get on board with being organized. However, nothing beats a failure but a try.

This is one of the neatest ideas I have seen by far for organizing laundry. You can just have everyone drop off stained items on the top, and place the rest in the corresponding color match. I think I will use a dark, light, and white laundry basket since my kids are more visual learners. I love that you can easily move this to another area when company comes for homes like mine that only have room for the washer and dryer in the laundry area.

This is a really smart idea. This application can be used for several uses not just a laundry shelf. Now that my husband and I are empty-nesters, we don't need a laundry shelf but this would come in handy in the garage just to store items that we use frequently.

What a clever way to use wood pallets and customize the size to fit your laundry baskets! It can be so tiring trying to find just the right thing to fit into the area you already have and this idea solves that! Besides sanding it and varnishing, I could see this painted in a bright cheery color, with a high gloss washable finish for another take on this great idea! You could even color code each shelf slide in area for each child for an extra touch! Great inspiration, thank you!
