This is a great little find, my partner and I keep buying small Humidifiers for our camper van in the winter months when we aren't out in it, they are great, but it would so handy to be able whip a batch up ourselves especially if it has a lovely scent off it as well!

My hot steam vaporizer humidifier just konked out, so this will be a great alternative! I love how comforting and welcoming this scent can be, so inviting and makes me feel in better spirits when it is really cold out! Adds needed humidity to the air as well as lovely aromas! I think I will use a larger pot for this so I don't have to add water as often. I wonder if this would work with an open crock pot, no lid, on low? That way, it could be positioned in another area than the stove, which would be good for humidifying another area besides the kitchen, as well as freeing up the stove if needed! Super idea! Thanks for sharing.

I'm literally already planning to do this! I see this idea in a lot of different places (sometimes with orange peels, sometimes with cinnamon sticks, etc.) and if so many people love it, it must work well!

I know this is for Christmas, but I think I am going to have to try out this DIY humidifier in the fall as well. I love the smell of cinnamon!
