Wood Bead Snowmen Ornaments

"Wood bead snowmen ornaments are so cute and so easy to make! All you need are wood beads, jute cord, and fabric scraps. Plus, the kids can get in on the fun, too! These ornaments only take a few minutes to put together. They are adorable hanging on a Christmas tree or anywhere all winter. You can also hang them on Christmas gifts so the recipient will have an ornament to remember you by every time they put up their tree. "

Materials List

  • Wood beads
  • Jute cord
  • Fabric scraps

  1. Cut the jute cord to about 10 inches long.

  2. Tie a loop in one end of the jute cord for hanging.

  3. Wrap a piece of tape around the other end of the jute to make it easier to put the beads on.

  4. Place 3 beads on the jute cord, then tie a knot close to the bottom bead.

  5. Draw a face on the top bead with permanent markers or craft paint.

  6. Cut a strip of fabric just long enough to tie between the top and middle beads. This will be the snowman's scarf.

  7. Lastly, hang up your wood bead snowmen ornaments!
