The first step in the Ultimate Guide to Winter is keeping warm. Those winter months get cold up North; so, it’s important to have strategies to minimize exposure to the cold and warm back up quickly. Sometimes, the best part about winter is the feeling of relief and coziness when you begin to warm up after being outside in the bitter cold. These DIY projects will help you with that! The delicious taste of these amazing drink recipes certainly won't hurt this winter, either.
There are multiple strategies you can use, whether it’s sipping on a warm homemade drink, snuggling in a no-sew fleece blanket, or making sure you don’t get frostbite while scraping your car by using a DIY de-icer spray. You can also use these warm drink recipes to be a fabulous host and keep your guests cozy. We recommend all of these methods and more, which we have compiled in the collection below. Winter Decorating Ideas

It’s not truly winter until you’ve decorated around the house. Without string lights giving off a warm glow to make each room feel cozy and scented pine cones filling the air with cinnamon, how are we supposed to know whether it’s really winter? Obviously you can’t, therefore DIY decor is very important.
Make some winter-themed DIY coasters for your end tables (you need somewhere to set down the homemade apple cider). Toss some DIY throw pillows on the couch and arm chair to bring that winter cheer into your home. These winter crafts and projects will fully prepare you for a great winter season.

Winter is one of my favorite seasons. I love the cold. I love wearing thick sweaters and scarves and wool socks and wrapping myself in a blanket. It's summer right now and it is too dang hot for me. Give me fall and winter now please.
