When the decorating budget is low this is a great way to add a lot of style to any room in the house. If you have frames on the wall it is easy to wrap them all in your favorite Christmas wrapping paper. Don't forget the ribbons and the bows!

I first saw this idea in a Doctors office and thought it was the cutest idea. (Walmart also gift wraps there register lights) I have done this a few time and the habit just fell to the wayside. Thanks for reminding me. Here is a inexpensive way to add more holiday cheer to the home.

If you have old picture frames that are beyond repair, in that the glue shows under a new coat of paint, then this project would be quite practical to keep frames out of the landfills. Otherwise, another option might be just to wrap empty boxes, or even sturdy storage boxes. I have wrapped boxes in beautiful wrapping and store spare Christmas bulb lights and fuses and ornament hooks inside, so it does double duty looking pretty and provides storage!
