- Paper Towels
Bring water to a boil. The amount of water you boil will depend on how many different colors you are using and how many eggs you are dyeing.
Fill the number of plastic cups you will be using with enough boiling water to cover an egg.
Add 1 teaspoon of white vinegar to each cup and about 20 drops of liquid food coloring or 1-3 drops of gel food coloring.
Use tongs to dunk eggs into the desired color of water. Let sit for about 5 minutes, turning occasionally. For more vibrant colors, let eggs sit for longer.
Remove the eggs and place on a paper towel to dry completely.
