You know those delightful tiny boxes filled with candy hearts that are around during Valentine's Day? Don't you wish you could have those treats whenever you desire? Now you can with this Homemade Candy Hearts tutorial. This DIY recipe shows you how to make candy hearts, complete with the same chalky texture and sugary taste as store bought Valentine's Day candy. You will have to have a little patience since they take 48 hours to dry, but the wait is totally worth it for these heart shaped treats.

These are so pretty! A really cute giveaway during wedding!

How cool are these, they bring me right back to primary school and giggling away with my friends about what ones we picked, a proper flash back from the past! Would love to make my own for Valentines, they would go down well for a laugh! I just love the idea of these!

Oh, I want to do this! I love those candy hearts and being a single senior citizen, I never get any! ) So I will make some for the grandkids and save some for me. I have never done anything like this before, so it's going to be a first. Those tiny stamps seem like they would be tedious to use. Is there another way to do it?

I love those candy hearts but they are real sweet so I try not to eat that many of them and only buy the small individual boxes to limit what everyone eats but this tutorial is so cool to show how to make these candy hearts so you can make them any size you want. I know it takes a long time to dry but it would be nice to make a super large one to give to someone special. Would that not be cool. Anyone know if it is possible to make a big candy heart?

I don't really like the taste of candy hearts, but my friend absolutely loves them. I'll have to make these for her!

Awww so cute!!
