Nice idea to use delicate flowers or ferns to resist the food coloring dye. Seems easy enough to duplicate and the natural plants give the colored eggs a springtime feel. To keep the flower or fern from moving I imagine a swipe of a glue stick to the back of the flower might keep is more securely attached when dip dyeing.

My, my, my, aren't these egg-squisite? With these egg-pertly decorated eggs of deception, I'll finally have a most egg-ceptional tool to defeat Gotham's eggalitarian defender of the people - Batman. Thus, proving I'm the number one egg in these parts.
