It's the most wonderful time of the year, and you can bet that we have a fairy garden that's just as magical!

This easy Christmas fairy garden project will light up your holiday season, literally and figuratively.

Mini twinkle lights sparkle on a winter wonderland scene, complete with a friendly snowman and a peppermint lane.

The wintry trees are an easy DIY that we love, but you can certainly choose a variety of festive miniature crafts and fairy garden accessories to complete your design. There's so much room for creativity with this Christmas fairy garden!

Materials List

  • Small flower pot or other container
  • Potting soil
  • Fake snow
  • Miniature pine cone trees--get the project here!
  • Crushed candy canes
  • Miniature snowmen
  • Miniature gingerbread house
  • Miniature white lights

Christmas Fairy Garden

Instructions

  1. Fill your flower pot with potting soil and pat it down to make a smooth surface for your fairy garden.

  2. Cover the potting soil with a layer of fake snow.

  3. Sprinkle the crushed candy canes in a curved line over the snow in order to make a lane.

  4. Place your miniature gingerbread house and snowman in the fairy garden.

  5. Add several pinecone trees, filling out the rest of the space in the fairy garden.

  6. Drape the white lights around the edge of the fairy garden to add some sparkle.

  7. Let your Christmas fairy garden sparkle! Enjoy!
