From the blogger: "This project is inspired by old cake tins - the baking tins has reached their end of their cooking lives with rust appearing. Cake served with rust? no thanks!! But I hate to throw items away to landfill. Transform old tins with chalk paint spray, adding to an old plank of wood for fabulous storage. Create stylish storage - use for herbs, cacti, cleaning materials, packaging materials - there are so many ways you can use this stylish DIY storage idea."

The designer really got creative. I like that most of her pieces were up cycled to create such a useful piece. Not only would this be a great wall hanging in the kitchen, this could easily be used in any space that a little creative storage is needed.

I have a brown thumb when it comes to growing plants however I love this idea for a holder in the kitchen. The pantry is always in disarrayed when people fail to place items back where they belong. These containers will be sturdy and by placing tags on them, everyone will know what belongs there.

What a great idea! I've been wanting to start an herb garden, but I didn't want it to take up a ton of counter space. This is the perfect solution!
