Do you remember those mini gardens? Have you always wanted one then what are you waiting for. Grab some small succulents, dirt and some rocks and get started making your own mini garden or a fairy garden. I like the idea to paint the rocks like mushrooms too. Super cute and these will look great on a teachers desk or an office. Why not make one for your mom for Mother's Day. Super project.

This Mini Mason Jar Garden is adorable. I have so many ideas of what to put in it. You can also give it as a personalized gift. It is also a good idea to get the kids involved as it is easy. Imagine if your child made one and then gave it to their teacher? I am sure that would be a big hit.

This project is so nifty! It'd be a cool gift idea for someone, too!

This is a fantastic idea for the little ones on a rainy day! I did one with my nephew at the weekend, it never stopped raining, he was complaining about been bored and I'm not a massive fan of video games all day long so we made our own mini DIY garden, he had so much fun making it and when he comes over now he can tend to it himself and get a sense of achievement as things grow- it's a great idea!!

The mason jars make this idea perfect for little girl's rooms and for parties where you can give them to friends. I can see planting a mini herb garden like flavorings for tea like mint, chocolate, or orange. I would love to get a gift like that from a friend. The fact that they took the time to be so thoughtful would make it even better.

I really like this idea. I think my grand daughter would like helping me to make one. We can go to the craft store and pick out different little things to add. I have a lot of clear glass stones she could paint too.i know she will want a tiny fairy sitting in there somewhere. I think we will have to make more than one!

So that's another way I can use my mason jars. I'm making one for work, one for my mom, one for my kitchen. And how fun to add the mini decorations to the garden to give it a personality. I can't wait to go look at the mini decorations at the craft store!

What a great idea for a plant to keep in a small space. I agree it would definitely be cute to sit on a desk at work. Can't wait to try it.

Well this is ADORABLE.

I want one of these on every surface that I own!

Just like an itty bitty fairy garden. Eep!

This is such a great idea! So thrifty and rustic - my apartment definitely needs one!

I think I might make this for my desk at the office!

This small garden idea would be great for an apartment or dorm room!
