Mini DIY Greenhouse
From the blogger: "It occurred to me last year when I purchased a few bell pepper plants at a local greenhouse that if I was going to give this gardening thing a real shot then I was going to need to start my own seeds. (The cost of buying plants being a little too high for my frugal self.) However, I had two major obstacles in my way, firstly I don’t have a greenhouse so I had to start my seedlings indoors and secondly I don’t have a good south facing area in my home for decent sunlight. I tackled the first problem by going to my drawing board because the second problem isn’t going to be changing anytime soon. It came to me when I was at Walmart and I stumbled upon the perfect mini greenhouses. 'Disposable' roaster pans with clear plastic lids!"

Oh my goodness, is this an inspired idea or what? I love it and never would have thought of a disposable roaster pan. You can get these at your local buck store, so the outlay is minimal. And seeds are reasonable as well. This would be a great little project for school kids...imagine this in the window with a plant in a cup,for each student to take home later and give to mom to plant? Super duper idea!

Great idea! We live in an area with NO sunlight, too, and it is so annoying. I haven't ever tried to start seedlings because of this but this mini greenhouse idea just might change that! Thanks for sharing. (I also like how she was able to write the types of seedlings on the cups!)
