This is an interesting idea! Just last night there was a spider running around my husbands side of our bed. I screamed, and he could not catch it. This repellent would definitely be useful to me to keep the spiders away from me. We are also moving into a new house next week, and I would love to have this made to spray before we move in.

What an awesome idea. I just killed a spider in my bathroom this morning....I'll definitely be whipping up a batch of this repellent soon.

I have not heard of this combination of essential oils and dish soap for a spider repellant. The problem is that it will keep the spiders away from where you spray, but can you spray everywhere? It is a repellant, not a killer I am assuming. Those tiny spiders seem to sneak in and so I am thinking this is best at the window sills and obvious areas spiders come in. Great idea, I will have to try it!

I am so happy to find this totally safe product to use to protect my house. We live in an area that is full of nasty spiders. In the winter they come in to stay nice and warm. In the summer we are so hot that they go under the house to stay cool. Either way, I hate to kill them I would prefer to make them not think my house is perfect for their family. I like that I don't have to worry about my animals getting near poision. I can use this spray everywhere with not one concern. Thank you!

We have a serious problem when it comes to yellow sac spiders in our home. We also have frequent visits from fishing spiders and Northern Widows. The yellow sac spiders are everywhere in our home though and they are quite aggressive. We have them in our house all year, even in winter! I am willing to try everything that is safe for my family to be around. The more natural, the better. I will definitely be making this. Wish me luck, I need it!

Love Love this because it is natural. And I do not like using chemicals. I do not mind some spiders but they get way out of control fast and the little ones bite before you know they are there. So very inexpensive with ingredients many have at home with the exception of if you want to use essential oils. Water, dish washing liquid and lemon. And I bet it smells wonderful not like the chemical ones. Which essential oil works best?

Oh my goodness, where was this a month ago?? Our windows have been overrun with little white-striped spiders, and I couldn't get rid of them! We ended up calling a bug guy, but I wonder if this will help should they decide to come back...
