Coffee Tin Flower DIY Vase

DIY Vase Instructions

  1. Make sure to thoroughly clean your recylced tin can. Also, before you get started pinch down any sharp ends that might have happened from when you opened your can with some pliers.

  2. Put your pebbles or colorful rocks in the bottom of your coffee vase.

  3. Put one small layer of soil over the rocks you just laid down.

  4. Un-pot your house plant over your bowl of soil and break up the old soil that is currently on the house plant but crumbling it into the bowl.

  5. Put your plant into your vase and see about how far down you want him to go.

  6. Then, continue to pack more soil down and around him.

  7. Measure your ribbon around your tin, cut it slightly bigger than you need, and add some tackly glue on each end and a line right down the middle.

  8. Wiggle the ribbon around until it is exactly where you want it and hold it in place for a second.

What a great inexpensive way to recycle your cans to make some cute plant vases. They are so simple to do and the ribbon gives it that extra touch. Why pay for a vase when you can recycle your own. You can even glue some embellishments on the cans too.

Like this so much can nicer than plastic and the ribbon is a lovely finish and yes endless possibilities thanks

This is such a cute DIY planter! It could be a good Mother's or Father's Day present or a housewarming gift!

It's so simple, but with the right plant, you can make this into a beautiful bit of decor for your home. I love the way they decorated the tin, too.

This is such a fun and easy project! I love how quickly I could put this together!
