This painted plank wall design is really nice. Not only can you get that new look of the plank wall but a smidge of color to make it your own. I have considered a accent wall and I think I like this twist on the plank wall craze.

The plank walls are very fashionable right now and I really like them. I think I just flipped head over heels when I saw this post. The way that the "planks" were painted really just did it for. However, I am a renter. Anyone have any ideas on how to make this easy to remove? I just can't seem to think past nailing it right to the wall.

This rustic looking painted plank wall looks just awesome and I think something similar would be great in our hallway. Even the colors shown in the photograph are exactly right for our space. I find it particularly appealing like that the planks are not all the same width. Definitely going to give this idea some thought.

I'm a huge fan of this idea! I love the colors here too. Lovely project :)

What a cute idea! I think this is a nice compromise between painting a room just one color, too.

Very nice look for a blank wall. I think this wall treatment would be nice as a headboard for a bed or for a basement wall to dress up the wall behind a sofa in an entertainment room. You could easily customize your wall with paint or stain that would complement your decorating style or furniture colors. I think this would be a very fun project to tackle!

This seems like such a nice idea. It is also not a difficult thing to paint and the painting part seems like fun. I want to try this. There is a timber store right near me. I think I am going to make this a weekend project of mine.

I love the rustic look with some added color!

I love this idea! I have a room that is so plain, this would be such a great idea to add a unique touch.

This is such a cool DIY idea! I love the touch of aqua mixed in with the brown and gray hues.

This has such a pretty beach house vibe.
