Beeswax is a must-have for any serious DIY-er, and The Beeswax Workshop provides over 100 ways to use it in cosmetics, candles, and more.

Beeswax is a great ingredient for making all sorts of all-natural products at home. Author Chris Dalziel provides clear and concise recipes for stuff you'd probably never think about. For example, did you know you can use beeswax to waterproof your tent when you go camping? The book is broken into chapters divided by uses such as personal care, home comforts, hair care, outdoor use, and much more. It's easy to find the kind of recipe you're looking for.

Dalziel does provide some background information on beeswax such as where it comes from and how to handle it. He sticks to only must-have information on that before diving into the good stuff – easy tutorials for all manner of beeswax uses.

Thanks to certain leading lip balm brands, most people know that beeswax can be used for quality all-natural cosmetics. The personal care recipes in this book include many kinds of lip balms, lip gloss, and lipsticks. But you can also learn how to make facial creams, perfumes, and even deodorant.

There's an apothecary section that shows some of the medicinal uses for beeswax, which is great for emergency preparation and healthy alternatives to over-the-counter drugs.

Did you know you can use beeswax for garden sealant? How about leather dressing or furniture polish? There's even a chapter on using beeswax for indigo dyes. It would be hard to find a more straight-forward guide to anything you could possibly make with beeswax.

The Beeswax Workshop book is a great addition to any DIY-er's home library. Pick it up for over 100 ideas on how to use beeswax for your health, home, and more.
