The look of these mats is so fun and springy! I am thinking these could be more for decor and perhaps to store boots and shoes after removing them, rather than actively wiping your feet in them. As another option, it would be a cute idea to make these as wall hangings for art. It might even work as a bulletin board of sorts, using pins or clothes pins with silk flowered tops! Pretty idea!

This is a cute idea, but it is not really a serviceable one. Putting the mats on plates would make them useless as a mat to clean off your feet. The mats are not secured to the plate, so they would slide off. Not only that, but the plates would break. Securing them to a rubber tray would make more sense.

I have seen the grass turfs in the craft stores in the artificial plant section and never could imagine what to do with them. I like this idea but not really practical for me. However, my cousins up north may have more need for it than I do, especially during the cold snowy winter months.

I love this! It's so cute and I think it'll really add a pop of color to my entryway.
