I save glass jars for a complete different reason and now I know what to do with the larger ones. Looking at the photo, the first thing I thought was "how did they do that?" Well there was the answer and it is not difficult to do. I need a canister for my flour and I will have one now in less than a day. Thank you!

These are adorable and practical. I know I never have enough containers. I like that this project upcycles an item that would have been thrown away. I can see this in multiple rooms in my home. I think I will be "recycle bin diving" before I place it out on the curb next recycle day.

It is not pasta sauce jars that I have an overabundance of. I find myself with a lot of pickle jars, either relish, hamburger chips, bread & butter spears or just kosher pickles to eat. We love pickles and here is an opportunity to reuse a few of these jars that I currently have. My first project is to make a set of the guest bathroom.

Wow. When I first saw the photo I thought the lids were bought from a store and I'm thinking "Some kind of craft. Buy a lid and put it on an old jar." It sure fooled me! I often put goodies into jars for small Christmas gifts and this would be perfect.

This is very creative! These jars are very easy to make. Me and my daughter love crafts making, and we tried to make these yesterday. It looked classy! My daughter put her favorite character stickers and I used a wallpaper sheet and glued it on the jar. I would probably make more of these. It also looks nice if you put marbles inside!

Heres another one! An idea so simple and easy I should have thought of it myself. I guess thats why the world is full of so many brilliant people, because no one person can think of everything. I will not be so quick to throw out those empty jars from now on, will certainly look at them with new ideas.

I absolutely love this idea. I want to change my storage over to glass. I am bothered about using plastic for storage with the potential for leaching chemicals etc. The small town where I live has gone back to throwing away glass jars and that is upsetting to me. Now I can just reuse my sauce and jelly jars for storage. I think it's safer for the environment and a cleaner storage choice. I'd also like to have large jars to recycle too. Where could I get gallon size glass jars for my flour and sugar? This appears to be such an easy project and I can paint the lids to match my counter and get wooden beads to match cupboard door pulls.

Love this craft! I tried this today, and I am in love with these jars! I made two of them already. This doesn't take much time at all. The instructions are so clear. I had a wind chime that broke. It had three angels sitting together on top. I used this as a handle for one of my jars. So, now I have a beautiful jar that serves a purpose with my precious angels sitting on it. Thank you for this wonderful idea!
