I really need a new island, and I don't want to spend so much on one. I love that this is seems so easy to do! This would be the perfect thing for my kitchen. Plus I still have my butcher block from my island that fell apart after years of use. I think with the changes that were suggested, I could make this work with my butcher block. I would just need a few different measurements.

Our kitchen used to be super tiny. Then we took out a wall and opened it into the living area and so it has increased in size to being Small but the great news for us is that we have space for an island just like this one. It might be Intermediate but it seems to me that if one reads the instructions carefully and takes it slowly it is not at all difficult.

I love this DIY island for my apartment kitchen. I like this island especially because it costs almost nothing to make I don't have much space in my kitchen for a bigger island. This could still store so many things in my kitchen though. Thanks for the idea.

I know this kitchen organizing island says intermediate and I hope I can manage it. It looks absolutely lovely and maybe a bit out of my league as I am not used to working with wood but I'm willing to give it a go. These days the DIY stores are very helpful and will sell you ready made cut pieces of wood to your specifications so that will make everything easier.
