These floating shelves add such character to the wall. At this time just about all of our walls have something hanging on them but I am considering trading a few pictures for some of these diy floating shelves.

Right after I saw this post, I went to the IKEA site to look for these brackets. I found them and ordered them and I am waiting for the brackets to arrive. Instead of dealing with the issue of fitting shelves, I bought shelves. Excited.
