This easy sewing project is especially handy because you can reuse the bowl covers as many times as you want. The stretchy top ensures that your bowl cover will stay securely over the bowl. Project TypeMake a Project
- Cotton fabric
- 1/4” elastic
- Sewing machine
Lay the bowl on top of your chosen fabric and draw a circle around the rim, adding an extra 1 1/2” width so that there is enough fabric to completely cover the bowl. Cut out the circle using Amplify® Fabric Shears. These shears consistently make sharp and clean cuts, even after prolonged use.
Pin 1/4” wide elastic piece at the raw edge and pull it taut as you sew the elastic to the perimeter of the fabric with a zig zag stitch.
Fill your bowl with snacks and place the finished cover on top.
