These embroidery hoop framed denim pocket organizers are really quite nice. Old hoops are available at thrift stores for just pennies. Just be sure and cut enough fabric from around the jeans pocket to be able to stretch in the hoop. They make for great wall decor and for going away to college gifts too.

I, like the blogger am a blue jean and t-shirt girl and so are my kids, so I have plenty of blue jeans kept for just such a purpose as this. And what's even greater is that I was just gifted with a slew of embroidery hoops! How perfect is that? Since I'll be taking things in and out of them I wonder whats' the best way to secure them to the wall? Anyone have any ideas?

The denim pocket organizers are the cutest, easiest project I have made yet. The best part is with them hanging on the wall, they free up space on the work surface. So far I have made five and still need more! I love them. Before long I may have a whole wall done with them.

What a riot! I think using denim jean pockets for storage is not only clever and practical, but serves nice storage spaces. You could also add some glittery accents such as gluing in sequins or sewing in buttons or ric rac trim to add even more whimsy! These would be a cute gift to a college bound graduate too!

I love having another craft to make from old jeans. This caught my eye because it is not the usual project projects I come across. They look rally cute hanging on the wall. I think the next time I will try one using a picture frame and put silk flowers in the pocket. I think it would be really cute for a little girl's room or any room.

I love these! They are so cute and certainly an excellent and unique storage decoration. The denim would work for many rooms and types of things to be stored. The pockets could hold jewelry, barrette's and hair accessories in a teens room. The adorable wall hangings would be cute for limited work areas for sewing too. Needles and pins can be inserted into the denim while measuring tape, cutters and extra blades can be set into the pockets. Everything will be close at hand and easy to find.

I would never have thought to use denim this way. This makes such a neat idea for my daughters room because she always needs storage for her art supplies. She could have these all over her room or on the back of the closet door to put her pens, markers, pencils, and other craft items that seem to find their way to the floor.

This is pretty wild. Denim storage AND decor? Wow.

I have been doing this with Kevin's pockets for many years, but I put magnets on the back and hang them on the fridge! They have many uses that way!
