From the blogger: "We all love Pottery Barn's stuff, but not their hefty price tags, right? Well, that's what DIY is for! These wooden keys were a big hit back when Pottery Barn was selling them (with a price tag to match), but now the only way to get them is to make them yourself. Learn how to make some rustic wooden keys of your own using a few table legs from Home Depot and some pieces of oak or pine.”

I love these Rustic Wooden Keys Pottery Barn Dupe! My daughter loves old keys and I so need to make a set of these for her. I wish there was a pattern to print out for the teeth part. I'll have to get my drawing skills up to par. With all the pictures showing how to make these keys, this should work out nicely. Thank you so much for sharing this DIY key idea.

These really are very nice looking keys and it would be lots of fun to try my hand at a project such as this. The tutorial is really good for this. I too love so much that I see in Pottery Barn catalogs, but honestly, they are super expensive! Kudos to the hubby that wanted to make these for his wife and for sharing the how-to with us.

WoW! These are soooo cool! My eldest daughter is really into steampunk and these would fit perfectly alongside her gears decor. I'm not much of a shop person myself but my hubby is quite capable. I found the tutorial and he does the work. Doesn't that sound like a team given Christmas gift to you?

Ha! These are so cool looking! They'd definitely add a a rustic feel, but they'd be cool for Kingdom Hearts cosplay, too. Oh, the possibilities!
