What a fun idea! Take it one step further and use colored ping pong balls, or dip in some acrylic paint with decopage to give it some color, or use colored lights instead of white! The possibilities are endless! I am wondering if you could go to a part district or school and ask for their old ping pong balls that they are going to throw out anyway to save a few pennies! These would look so pretty strung up in a tree for a festive summer evening! Fun idea!

This DIY tutorial is so cheap and easy to do! Everyone has a string of old twinkle lights hanging around and ping pong balls are really affordable. When assembled, the lights give a nice, soft glow that would jazz-up any party. I think that it would be a fun idea at Hallowe'en to draw faces on the ping pong balls to make them look like little ghosts. A great tutorial for crafters of any ability.
