There is no sewing involved in this curtain project because a glue gun and iron is used to connect the fabric to hold the curtain rod. How practical. I wanna do this, too.

I suppose this concept can be used with any piece of fabric. Some of use are not handy with needle and thread but still like to be fashionable. This is a great trick.

Nope. You can not get much easier than this for a shower curtain project. What I like about it, you can customize the length of your panels. With the curtains, you purchase in the store you are limited to select a certain length. Hot glue washes out but then the fabric can be re-glued for the same project or used elsewhere. Thanks for the project idea.

I love this project! I totally want to make these curtains for my apartments. They're so elegant looking and I'm sure will look beautiful when the sun starts to shine through.

The things you can do with a glue gun. Good idea! Will have to try it. Curtains without a lot of sewing.

Well please forgive me but I am no fan of this method even though it sounds like a wonderful time saver and for the non sewers a method of making lace curtains. Honestly using a glue gun....glue get's really really hot and very messy, not mentioning the burnt fingers. I personally will rather use the sewing machine. I am sure that this will work much quicker than the glue gun and I will not sit with blisters after the project is complete.

Wow! What a time saver and it looks wonderful. This is great for all the non-sewers who still want to DIY some curtains. I am wondering though would this work with other glues that aren't hot? I mean can you pull this off if you don't have a glue gun? I like this easy project and know a lot of young adults who could do this in their first apartments.

Making curtains is really not all that challenging, but it takes so much time and I always want to them done and hanging yesterday. But the hot-glue process means I can have new curtains much quicker I like it. Will have to try it with regular fabric and see what happens.

Tried this craft? What did you think?

Lace is both trendy and classic. As a non-sewist, making curtains can be intimidating; but, I think I can make these DIY curtains!
