Great idea! I love the fact that you can switch out the fabric to suit the season and your decor! I could see some beautiful brocade in deep red or green or a combination plaid for the holidays, and then, as shown, a light spring shade when the weather turns warmer. An alternate technique would be the use of a small spring tension rod, or a nailed in small rod, and sewing rod pockets on the top and bottom of fabric cut to the suggested 1 and 1/2 times the width of the door. Some suggest up to twice the fullness, but then it might be too thick to shut the doors properly! Also depends on the sheerness or thickness of the fabric used. Some thicker ones don't lend themselves to gathering or perhaps you may want tomshowmoff the full pattern if there is one. In that case, just lay the fabric out flat with no gathering against the sticky part of the Velcro. Lots of great options for a super idea...practical and pretty!
