Bring a little personality to your laundry room with this DIY Wooden Laundry Sign. This project takes a wood pallet and turns it into a charming and rustic sign with a lot to say. With the help of stencils, you can paint your pallet to say whatever you want it to! You can stick with the laundry theme for your sign and chose a clever clothing pun to make loading the dryer a little brighter. But don't feel limited to one room of your home, you can use this project to create fun signs for any part of the house.

Insructions

  1. Using a flat brush, basecoat the pallet in White.

  2. Using scissors, cut apart the “Wash, Dry, Fold, Repeat” stencil and place them on the four planks of the pallet. Tape in place

  3. Using a stencil brush, stencil “Wash, Dry, Fold” in Pewter Grey.

  4. Stencil “Repeat” in Turquoise.

  5. Block the edges of the sign in Turquoise. To do this, get a very small amount of paint on your block and scrape the block on the edges of your sign. The objective is to give the sign a weathered look.
