Essential oils have so many benefits, and you can use them in so many different ways. It's pretty amazing when you find a product that's great for cooking, cleaning, and making your home smell fabulous.

One of the most popular ways to use essential oils is with an oil diffuser. An oil diffuser can scent an entire room with your favorite essential oil fragrance. It doesn't require any electricity or heating element, so it couldn't be easier to use!

It's also pretty easy to make a DIY oil diffuser, and we have some genius projects that we're excited to share with you! We have some of our favorite crafts below, plus we've included several other ways for you to incorporate essential oils into your home. If you're not in the mood to craft an oil diffuser, then perhaps you'll enjoy one of our bath bombs, an essential oil candle, or even homemade lip balm.

Other Ways to Enjoy Essential Oils

Some of you may read this and think, "Why make it so complicated? There are much easier ways to use essential oils!" You're right! We've chosen these projects because we love DIY crafts (and think you do, too).

However, if you're looking for super simple and affordable ways to enjoy essential oils, we have some options for you. Some of them couldn't be simpler, but you still might not have thought of them before. Enjoy!

  1. Inhale directly from your bottle of essential oil.
  2. Place a few drops of essential oil on a tissue or handkerchief. Keep it nearby and inhale when you need to relax for a moment.
  3. Place a few drops of essential oil on your pillow.
  4. Place a few drops of essential oil into your bath. You can also place a few drops on a washcloth and place it on the floor of the shower.
  5. Make a stove simmer. Bring a few cups of water to a low simmer on your stove and add a few essential oils to the water.
