Making DIY curtain rods, especially for outdoor curtains, saves a lot of money. Curtain rods can be expensive and may not hold up when installed outside. Learn how to install curtain rods that are made from unexpected and inexpensive materials. These unexpected materials are actually chain link fence parts. Found at most hardware stores, these fence materials are cheap and made to withhold outside conditions. You can even use the brackets. The pipes can be easily cut to fit your space, which make them great alternatives to store-bought curtain rods.

This is a great idea for outdoor curtain rods that won't break the bank. Since fencing is made to be outside, one wouldn't have to worry about using this material for the rods. I always liked the look of curtains outside on a covered deck or patio area. It gives the space a cozy feel. Good job on this one.

I like this idea a lot. It'd be a great way to ward of bugs on buggy nights.
