This is a great idea! I have a mirror in my closet that this would work perfectly with this project. I also visited the DecoArt website and they have a really nice selection of colors available to be able to match most any decor. The blogger's tutorial was done well with nice pictures and ideas!

If you have not already used chalk paint I highly recommend that you give it a try. I think it deserves a category entirely of its own because, somehow, it is entirely different from any other paint experience and the finish is just so beautiful that I can not stop touching it. Coating a mirror frame in chalk paint is a great idea. To me it has a lovely retro feel, like the lime paints of years gone by.

This is such a beautiful vintage look on this mirror and so easy to accomplish with this tutorial. I see a lot of cute mirrors when I go to thrift stores or antique stores but the finish never goes with what I need. But now I can take these to a new level by painting with the chalky paints. So super cool. Anyone agree?

Stop I'm obsessed! I always hate trying to match little things like mirrors to the rest of the room, but this makes it so easy!!

Holy beautiful, Batman! I love the vintage look of this. I think in the light blue shown, or in a baby pink, it would be awesome in a child's room, as well. Personally, I'd love it in my dream Mermaid-themed bedroom :)
