Glass lanterns or even hurricane glass lantern shades almost always seem to be abundant at resale, consignment or thrift stores, as well as the cups, so this project could be easily replicated, and perhaps you could make several for gifts! I love the bulb used in this project, I have some older Amber flame light bulbs as well as a really neat specialty or novelty bulb that flickers like a gas jet light, and that would really look cool! This would also be a neat way to provide realism to a high school play stage set for a certain time period. Clever idea!
