My grandma used to have a coffee table that looked like this, and I always loved it. I think she sold it in a yard sale, but now I think I'm going to try to make one myself!

I love this Rustic Live Edge Wood DIY Table. I have a live edge wood clock that my in-laws gave me and I love it this would go great with the clock. I have a few friends who live in the woods and they are always have to cut down trees after a hard winter, so I'll be getting my wood free. I think it would be a good idea to seal the bark part of the wood slab as well. I learned with my clock that as time goes by, the bark is starting to peel, fall off. So I sealed the clock and will do so for the table as well. I so love the Rustic Live wood look! Thank you so much for sharing this free DIY project.

I am still a bit uncertain about how much I like the "natural elements" trend in home decor lately; but, I have to admit, this is a really cute DIY table.
