Farmhouse Style Coffee Table Makeover
From the blogger: "Have I told you that I love my Dewalt Miter Saw? I do, it seriously makes so many projects easy, including this coffee table makeover. And this coffee table turned out so cute. You won’t believe what it looked like when I found it. I doubt the last owner would recognize it. The truth is this coffee table started out as one of those huge 2-tier end tables that was so popular in the 80’s and 90’s. But a table that size (32″x32″) just doesn’t fit into most living rooms as an end table. I wasn’t sure I wanted it at first, but the legs are absolutely beautiful and the price was great. I just had to figure out what to do about that second tier."

This is such a cute coffee table! I love the chic country cottage look of it. I love the combination of the dark wood with the white.

I truly love a good "before and after" furniture makeover and this one delivers. Seriously, I just get excited to see how people have recreated pieces that are long on quality, but short on style. The older furniture that is found either from hand-me-downs or from garage sales or thrift store jaunts is often sturdier than most new stuff. A coat of paint, the addition of wood slats on top, the use of nail heads, etc. can make the difference for many tables or chairs that just need a bit of love to make them look great. I think this project illustrates the dramatic difference a little love makes on an otherwise dated table. Good job!
